TL;DR

We strongly recommend everyone involved with Dyte and its communities in any way to give the below-stated participation guidelines a thorough read. There is no TL;DR because we want to make sure each one of us goes through and understands the standards that we encourage on our platforms.

We define "community" as any and all spaces, including but not limited to code repositories, communication channels like Slack, Discord, WhatsApp, calls, messages, wiki, blogs, social media, tutorials, webinars, in-person events such as meet-ups or conferences, etc, which are managed by Dyte and where people might need to communicate with each other and have the opportunity to express themselves via written or spoken words, or behaviors, or actions.

Our Pledge

We as members, contributors, and leaders pledge to make participation in our community a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of age, body size, visible or invisible disability, ethnicity, sex characteristics, gender identity and expression, level of experience, education, socio-economic status, personal appearance, body size, neurodiversity, mental health, nationality, origin, race, caste, color, religion, or sexual identity and orientation. The only discrimination caveat is that we actively discriminate against and do not welcome those who discriminate on any grounds.

We pledge to act and interact in ways that contribute to an open, welcoming, diverse, inclusive, and healthy community.

Our Purpose

At Dyte, our purpose with our community spaces is to foster an open and welcoming environment of enthusiasm and learning around technology in general and real-time communication technology in particular. We value the participation of each member of the community and want everyone to have an exciting, enjoyable, and fulfilling experience.

Our Standards

Examples of behavior that is encouraged and contributes to a positive environment for our community include:
